I let the mint leaves and a slice of lemon steep in hot water for about 40 minutes. This activated the mint flavor. Then I strained the mint-infused water and added some freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar/honey and a pinch of salt to it and let it cool in the refrigerator 🙂
