Mohabhoj–‘Moha’ means great or grand and ‘bhoj’ means feast or banquet.

Adventure begins in the kitchen for me. Trying out new recipes and dishing out old favorites add zing to my culinary life. I believe in the therapeutic benefits of cooking and savoring a good meal.

I currently work as a freelance writer. I began my career as a journalist while pursuing my Master’s degree in English from Calcutta University. I was assigned to cover the food beat at my first job at Anandabazar Patrika, the largest circulated regional language newspaper in India. I later worked for the Times of India and EducationWorld in Bangalore. I earned my Master’s in Journalism from Northeastern University in 2013 and have written for Boston.com, the Somerville Journal and Cambridge Chronicle. I live in the Greater Boston area with my husband.
